MagicAnimate Playground
Open-source platform for transforming a single image and motion video into high-quality animated videos.
About MagicAnimate Playground
Magic Animate is an innovative open-source project that streamlines the creation of animated videos from a single image and motion sequences. Designed for easy access, it consolidates relevant content to facilitate learning and practical application. Utilizing a diffusion-based framework, it ensures temporal consistency, faithfully preserves the reference image, and significantly improves animation quality. It supports animating static images with motion data from various sources, including cross-identities and unconventional domains like oil paintings and movie characters. Additionally, it integrates seamlessly with text-to-image diffusion models such as DALLE3, enabling dynamic animation of text-prompted images.
How to Use
To operate MagicAnimate, download the pretrained models for StableDiffusion 1.5 and the MSE-finetuned VAE. Then, obtain the MagicAnimate checkpoints. Ensure your system has Python 3.8 or higher, CUDA 11.3 or above, and ffmpeg installed. Set up the environment using the provided conda environment.yml file. You can also access the online demo via Hugging Face or Replicate, or run it on Google Colab for convenience.
