Active members are counted based on Slack workspace members, excluding guests and external users for billing purposes.

OrgaNice sends up to four notifications to encourage profile completion, followed by email reminders for unfilled data, and a report to admins for unresolved profiles.

What is the Data Completion page?

The Data Completion page shows members with incomplete profiles, indicating whether notifications have been sent or are pending.

Why can I only edit my own position on the org chart?

Regular members can only edit their own roles, while admins can modify all positions. Changes to other admins require Slack workspace owner approval.

How do Slack and OrgaNice admin roles differ?

Slack admins manage workspace settings and can edit all org chart positions; OrgaNice admins have similar access but also receive profile completion reports. Both roles can perform overlapping functions if applicable.

Why can't I update my profile fields in Slack?

Profile data synchronization depends on API sources. When set to API data, users can only update their information through the org chart, which then syncs back to Slack.

What happens if I delete a manager with subordinates?

Removing a manager also deletes their subordinates from the org chart. Deleted profiles can be reviewed on the Data Completion page.
